Doeke is Jorn’s minimal solo piano project. ‘Naar Huis’ is shaped by a desire to return to simplicity. It’s about nostalgia, it’s about home, and about the strange details we tend to remember from childhood.

I recorded the album one afternoon in Brooklyn, shortly before the pandemic hit, and it captures a special and melancholic moment in time.
